APE GmbH offers an application oriented introduction into the principles of Optical Parametric Oscillators (OPOs) in theory and practice. The workshop „Synchronously Pumped OPOs: An Introduction” takes place in Berlin at October 11 and 12, 2007.

The APE developers will give an understanding of the theoretical principles und functions of different synchronously pumped OPOs. On the user side the physician Kathrin Willig from the Max-Planck-Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Department of NanoBiophotonics has kindly agreed to appear as co-speaker. The second part of the programme consists of practical experiments at the APE laser laboratories.
