No one can win a professional slide battle.
Neither you nor your audience. Read on to learn which media is best suited for
your presentation.
- Flip chart - a dynamic and interactive effect, especially if you can draw without advance preparation.
- Tabletop
flip chart pad - a proximity effect. It works even if technique fails
(e.g. power cut, no beamer) or if participants don't want a beamer
presentation.
- Presentation wall - clear and structured.
- Posters - a professional effect. They help memorize the message.
- PowerPoint - a professional effect. Sequence animation, Internet presence.
With some media your messages are visible during
the entire presentation. For example, flip charts, posters, presentation walls.
They are suitable for messages which should always be apparent, such as agenda
points or very important context. There are also non-permanent media, for
example a beamer or an overhead projector, which show your messages just for a
short time (no disturbance). Always ask yourself: What should always be visible
or not?
