Laser Components
Compact laser systems - up to 25 W cw

Laser Components exclusive partner, SemiNex Corporation, introduces a new product. A compact laser system with an optical power of up to 25 W in continuous wave (cw) operation.

In the spectral range from 1470 nm to 1550 nm, SemiNex has developed the most efficient and powerful single emitters available on the market worldwide today. The new system is based on this chip. Optional available is a cooling system that is quiet and relatively small. It can compensate for a power loss of up to 200 W without the need for water cooling. This makes it possible to use the laser system for an extended period of time without worrying that the laser will overheat.

The system is available in various versions with an optical cw output power between 10 and 25 Watt. 1350 nm, 1450 nm, 1470 nm, 1532 nm and 1550 nm are the offered wavelengths.

The output power can be coupled into a 375 µm, 400 µm, or 500 µm fiber. Optional a red, 650 nm pilot laser can also be integrated into the system wich makes direct use, in particular in medical technology or material processing, possible. Further fields of application include DPSS pump lasers, military applications, and aerospace technology.
